2008 Annual Meeting Spouse/Guest Programs

Spouses and guests of attendees are welcomed and encouraged to attend all of the Annual Meeting sessions, luncheons and evening events.

Attire for the Annual Meeting is resort casual with the exception of the Chairman's Dinner, which is business attire. There are no formal events.

Wednesday, March 12

Spouse/Guest Breakfast Program (8:30 - 10:30 am)

Join your hosts and other spouses and guests at this informal meet and greet breakfast.

Golf Tournament (1:00 pm)

The AdvaMed Annual Meeting Golf Tournament will be held at the La Quinta Resort & Club's Mountain Course. Famous for its unique design and visually stunning setting, the Mountain Course is ranked among Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Courses You Can Play." Pre- registration is required. Box lunches will be provided on the carts.

Tennis Tournament (2:00 pm)

The AdvaMed Annual Meeting Tennis Tournament will be held at the La Quinta Tennis Center, rated among the top ten by TENNIS magazine. The center offers 23 courts with three surfaces. Refreshments will be provided. The tournament is free to attendees and pre-registration is required.

Afternoon Optional Events (2:00 pm)

Desert Jeep Tour

Discover the real desert .. it's not golf, shopping or celebrities! On this off-road adventure in open jeeps you will experience the desert's raw beauty, pure air and stunning scenery. Dress is casual, pants or shorts, closed-toed shoes (mandatory), sweater or jacket. Transportation is provided from the resort, and pre-registration is required.

Shopping Trip to The Gardens on El Paseo

The fashion center of Palm Desert, The Gardens on El Paseo offers everything you desire in clothing, ranging from couture to casual. Anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, the is home to premier retailers, restaurants and galleries. Transportation is provided from the resort and pre-registration is required.
