Founded in 1926, La Quinta Resort & Club is a legendary destination located in the picturesque Coachella Valley. The resort is set amidst a spectacular setting of citrus groves and flowers at the base of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains. The resort includes a full service spa and salon, boutique shops, fitness center, 41 heated outdoor pools, four restaurants, Camp La Quinta for children, 23 tennis courts and five golf courses and offers a number of outdoor activities.
Parking
The resort has complimentary self-parking as well as valet parking at $4.00 per day and $14.00 per night.
Room Reservations
AdvaMed has a block of rooms available at the rate of $344.00 per night. Room reservations for AdvaMed's 2008 Annual Meeting can be made by accessing AdvaMed's customized reservations web site.
You can also call for reservations at (800) 598-3828 and request the AdvaMed group rate.
Room reservations will be accepted at the special rate up until February 8, 2008. Reservations requested after this date will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.
Airline Information
The resort is located 19 miles southeast of Palm Springs and 120 miles east of Los Angeles. The Palm Springs International Airport is 30 minutes from the resort and other major gateways include Ontario International Airport (90 minutes), Los Angeles International Airport (2 hours, 15 minutes) and Orange County's John Wayne Airport (2 hours).
Ground Transportation
Taxi service is available to and from Palm Springs International Airport. La Quinta Resort offers deluxe airport transportation for all Southern California airports. Sedans, vans, minicoaches and motorcoaches are available by contacing La Quinta Destination Services at 760-777-4853. Taxis, limousines, shuttles, buses and vans can be arranged to and from LAX, Ontario and Palm Springs International Airports or any other destination. Camp La Quinta
La Quinta Resort & Club offers Camp La Quinta for ages 4 and up. Available 365 days a year, and supervised by the resort’s activities staff, the camp features a series of daily themes and dozens of related activities where the kids are in charge.
Fitness Center
The Fitness Center is adjacent to Spa La Quinta and the Tennis Center. You will find a fully equipped gym, personal training, exercise classes and bike rentals. The Fitness Center is open from 6am-8pm daily. Youth must be at least 16 years old to access the fitness center.
